Our Story

Founded in 1977 by a group aviation enthusiasts, veterans, and pilots , The Valiant Air Command, Inc. has grown over the past 44 years from a handful of aircraft to a continually expanding collection of over 50 historic warbirds from the beginnings of aviation to the present day. The Valiant Air Command, Inc. is a 501c(3) educational organization dedicated to the preservation of, education about and commemoration of Warbirds from all eras and the men and women who flew, maintained and fought in them.
Located at Space Coast Regional Airport, Titusville Florida, minutes from the heart of the American Space Program the Warbird Air Museum is sure to astonish both young and old visitors with our world class aircraft restorations and exceptional collection of military aircraft some of which you can only find at our facility. We look forward to sharing our nations military aviation history with you!

The Valiant Air Command, Inc. is thrilled to announce that we are currently hosting one of the rarest flying warbirds in the world! Tom Reilly’s meticulously restored North American XP-82 Twin Mustang is now on display for public viewing at the Valiant Air Command, Inc. Warbird Museum.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Valiant Air Command. We operate with the minimum of paid staff and our community of Volunteers are responsible for most of the major activities in the museum.
