The A-6 Intruder was the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps’ premier all-weather, medium-attack aircraft for over three decades. Designed to deliver precision strikes day or night, in any conditions, the Intruder became legendary among aviators and enthusiasts alike.

Our newly acquired A-6 cockpit gives visitors the chance to step into the seat of one of the Navy’s most iconic strike aircraft. Once restored and cleaned, the cockpit will be open for visitors to explore—allowing you to experience the tight quarters, intricate instrument panels, and unique perspective of an Intruder crewman.

Made famous in books and films such as Flight of the Intruder, the A-6 embodied the daring spirit of Naval Aviation, with pilots often describing their missions as “going downtown” into the heart of enemy defenses. Now, you can sit where they sat and imagine the intensity of flying America’s trusted strike jet.
